I want to start out with explaining who I am and what this website is all about. My name is Amber Chandler. I am 20 years old. I have finished 2 years of college at Capital University and right now I'm home seeking God for directions as to where my life should go. I attended Vineyard Columbus while I lived in Columbus. I have participated in a few bible studies and have been a member of Campus Crusade for Christ. God has lead me to Him through being a student at Capital and He has lead me back home to do something for his master plan, I just haven't figured out just what I'm suppose to be doing right now. A part of figuring out what God wants from me right now, I need to study more of His word and look for Him to speak to me in all possible ways. I have been praying for a way for me to "pay it forward". I have learned a great deal about what it means to be Christian and Jesus and the bible through bible studies where those leaders were taught by their leaders. I am hoping to take what I have learned and am learning and displaying it so that others can learn and grow in their faith or even come to Christ.

 

A struggle that I have is to keep a daily rutine of reading the bible and praying. I needed to find a way that would force me to do it. Being the only Christian in my household makes it a struggle to keep up my daily readings. I figured that if I start something like this it would force me to do my daily readings to be able to post on here so that others can benefit from what I am learning through Jesus.

 

My goal is just to help people have a place where they can come and have a daily dose of the bible. Our lives now a days are busy and filled with different events that make it difficult to find the time to really read and study the bible. I want to create a place where people can come and read a chapter or two of the bible and learn something and not just read to be able to check it off their list. I want this to be simple and easy but yet powerful and meaningful.

 

At the top of the webpages there are links to the different books of the bible that I will write about. For this month I will be going through the book of Proverbs and learning about the difference between being wise and being a fool.
